What an amazing event for animals & humans!!!
From December 03 until December 06, 2015 the Amadeus Agility World Cup was held in the exhibition center of Salzburg as part of the Mevisto Amadeus Horse Indoors festival.
300 dogs competed for the victory in the agility world cup and one thing for sure: these dogs had a blast while being on this tournament. If excitement would be color, then it would be a mix of the color of all the adorable dogs who run through the arena as their life would depend on it. The audience could feel the tremendous joy that these cute fluff balls felt when they carefully followed the instructions of their humans and did their best to finish the agility show-jumping course as fast as they could!
Jumping over hurdles, climbing up wooden walls, swishing through tunnels and zick-zacking through slalom posts – ALL these tasks were fulfilled by the pooches with a wiggling tale and pure happiness and great professionalism.
For sure, some humans in the audience would wish that their pet is as talented as these dogs of the Amadeus Agility World Cup 2015! But of course, nothing comes without sacrifice. Although the happy fluff balls make it look so simple, agility requires strict and consistent training for both sides – dog and human. Both athletes must trust each other unconditionally. The magic of agility is simple but fascinating – the dog’s flexibility and mobility, carefreeness and unconditional love combined with his human’s discipline, wisdom and knowledge form the perfect combination for this kind of sport.
If doggy makes a mistake though – missing tasks or being too slow – there is no way to be mad at those cute little fellas! Besides, humans do mistakes too and for sure, the dogs never mind! They are just happy that their human lives and plays with them!
The Amadeus Agility World Cup 2015 was an incredibly entertaining event that touched for certain everyone’s heart. All in all, it proved that humans must learn from animals, especially from such good-hearted, dedicated creatures such as dogs, who teach us to have fun at no matter what we are doing and trusting our beloved ones, as nothing else would be more important in life!
