Salzburg For the kids: DomQuartier Salzburg

Trying to get your kids to visit historical places, might be difficult. They would rather be playing in a park or running around the zoo looking at all the exciting animals there are. But learning about history is important because it helps us to understand why we live the way we do and teaches us where we came from.

At first glance DomQuartier Salzburg may seem like any other museum your kids would be begging to leave right after you enter it. But people at the DomQuartier know that kids don’t want to walk for an hour, just looking at the historic paintings and items. That is why they have tours that are specially created for children.

Activities

DomQuartier offers a tour of the historic centre of Salzburg. During the tour you will get the chance to visit the State Rooms, Residenzgalerie, Cathedral Museum and St. Peter’s Museum. There are multiple ways to do the tour with children.
